«Youth is the Future of the Nation» – Meeting on Suicide Prevention

On February 5, 2025, the Youth Policy Department organized a meeting on the topic «Youth is the Future of the Nation» dedicated to suicide prevention. The goal of the meeting was to educate young people, prevent violations and suicides, and discuss psychological methods for their prevention. The event was attended by an experienced Gestalt therapist and expert from the Kazakhstan Psychological Association, Saltanat Sailaukyzy Asanova, the psychologist of the City Youth Resource Center, Zhibek Muratkyzy Saidakhan, and students. A presentation titled «Ludomania – The Harm of Gambling» was also shown. The development stages of gambling addiction, the signs of dependency, and symptoms exhibited by addicted individuals were discussed. At the end of the meeting, Saltanat Sailaukyzy Asanova answered all the students' questions related to the topic.
