«World Election Day»

Еvery year on February 1, countries around the world celebrate World Election Day, established in 2005. This day symbolizes the universal right to participate in elections and underscores the importance of democratic civil rights and freedoms.In this regard, on February 3, 2025, the Abay District Territorial Election Commission of Shymkent organized a meeting on the topic “World Election Day” at the Department of General Education. The Chairman of the Territorial Election Commission, T. Aliyev, informed students about the procedures for organizing and conducting elections.During the meeting, college students concluded that participating in elections is the duty of every citizen.
