SKMA students are studying within the framework of the academic mobility program at the St. Petersburg State Chemical-Pharmaceutical University

Fourth-year students of the educational program «Pharmacy» and third-year students of the educational program «Technologies of pharmaceutical production» of the South Kazakhstan Medical Academy went to study at the St. Petersburg State Chemical-Pharmaceutical University (SСPhU) as part of the academic mobility program from February to July 2025. During the semester, they will study specialized disciplines, take practical classes and exchange experiences with Russian students.

In addition, recently SKMA and SPСPhU signed an Agreement on Strategic Partnership and Cooperation, Agreements on Academic Mobility and the Implementation of Joint Educational Programs, which opens up new opportunities for students and teachers of both sides.

On February 7, the III Scientific and Methodological Conference with international participation «Sander Readings» held at SPCPhU, where teachers of our academy made presentations at sectional meetings, presenting the results of their research.
Torlanova Botagoz, doctor of pharmaceutical sciences, Acting Professor of the Department of Pharmaceutical Production Technology, presented a report on «Implementation of Student-Centered Learning Technology in Professional Training of Personnel for the Pharmaceutical Industry» at the section «Professional Training of Personnel for the Pharmaceutical Industry».

Orynbassarova Kulpan, doctor of pharmaceutical sciences, Acting Professor of the Department of Drug Technology and Pharmacognosy, presented a report on «Determination of Pharmaceutical and Technological Parameters of Saussurea L. Plant Raw Materials» at the section «Modern Aspects of Technology and Quality Assurance of Herbal Medicines and Drugs».

This is an important step in the development of international scientific cooperation and knowledge exchange in the field of pharmaceutical science and practice.
