Round table dedicated to the 140th anniversary of M. Dulatov

On 04/16/25, the Department of History of Kazakhstan and Socio-Public Disciplines, together with the SKMA Library and Information Center, held a round table dedicated to the 140th anniversary of the outstanding representative of Kazakh literature, educator, poet and public figure M. Dulatov.
The purpose of the round table is to popularize the creative heritage of M. Dulatov, popularize national spiritual values, as well as to familiarize the public with unknown valuable data.
Mirzhakip Dulatov is an honored worker of the nation, one of the founders of the Kazakh leader, who contributed to the creation of the government of Alash.
During the round table, reports were made on the life and work of M. Dulatov, discussions were held about his contribution to Kazakh literature, national values and educational significance in his works.
Aizhan Mergenbaevna Shohibayeva, librarian of the Library and Information Center, spoke about the poet's homeland, educational institutions, as well as about his public activities for the Kazakh people. The importance and relevance of M. Dulatov's works for modern youth was also touched upon.

Students with the help of artificial intelligence technology were able to explain M. Dulatov's works in more depth. It has been established that digital technologies are of great importance in the study, translation, and preservation of M. Dulatov's legacy.
For their active participation in the organization of this event, senior teachers of the department Malikov M.M., Ibraimova A. Zh. and Myrzaziya A. A. and students of the 1st year of the Faculty of Medicine were awarded letters of thanks.
