REPUBLICAN STUDENT SCIENTIFIC-PRACTICAL CONFERENCE

On December 20, 2024, the "Semey Medical University" held a Republican Student Scientific-Practical Conference titled "Morphological Sciences and Medicine: Traditions, Innovations and Development," dedicated to the memory of Doctor of Medical Sciences, Professor Yuri Vasilyevich Pruglo on the occasion of his 85th birthday.
The purpose of the conference was to develop students' cognitive activity and communication skills, enhance motivation for the learning process and independent scientific research activities, provide opportunities for acquiring additional knowledge and skills, raise professional levels, and facilitate self-development.
The organized conference took place in a hybrid format. Interns from the group ІЖТДҚ 11-23 of the "General Practice-2" department participated online, with Ziyatbek Ulpan presenting a report on "Prospects for Effective Prevention of Human Papillomavirus," and Daurenkyzy Aizhan discussing "The Influence of Parents on the Initiation of Smoking Among Youth." Scientific supervisors included Doctor of Medical Sciences, Professor Dosybaeva Gulzhan, and Master of Medicine Otumbaeva Enlik.
