Promotion of healthy lifestyles among adolescents

On February 12, 2025, Laura Omarovna Baikonsova, senior lecturer at the department of «Hygiene and Epidemiology», participated in a seminar at the invitation of the specialized gymnasium № 8 with trilingual education, named after M. H. Dulati. The seminar was organized to raise awareness about health issues among schoolchild. The main topic of the event was «Sexually transmitted infections among adolescents, the consequences of early pregnancy and abortion». During the seminar, Laura Omarovna provided teenagers with comprehensive information on healthy lifestyles and disease prevention, encouraging young people to improve their health literacy.
At the end of the event, the school director, A. A. Sakhova, awarded Laura Omarovna a letter of thanks for her significant contribution to the upbringing and education of students and highly appreciated her work in this field.
