On November 29, 2024, the First International Forum on Family Medicine – "Primary Health Care: Development Strategy" – was held in Tashkent.

At the invitation of the Center for Professional Qualification Development of Medical Workers of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the forum was attended by assistants from the "General Practitioner -2" department — Baymuratova B.N., Abdieva B.M., Tasqynova M.A., as well as intern doctors Zhumanova D.M. and Shermatova Z.Y.
The speakers at the event included professors from the United Kingdom – Vijay Kumar and Urvashi Hegde, Serbia – Milos Stojanovic, Tajikistan – Dzhonova B.Yu., Israel – Yaron Goykhman, Kyrgyzstan – Brimkulov N.N., as well as Doctor of Medical Sciences, Professor, and Chairperson of the Association of Family Physicians of Kazakhstan Nugmanova D.S., along with representatives from Uzbekistan.
This forum was an excellent opportunity for specialists in the field of family medicine to exchange experiences, acquire new knowledge, and master modern approaches. The participation of leading experts from various countries created a platform to learn about best practices in healthcare delivery and discuss strategies for developing primary health care.
Forum participants discussed innovations and modern approaches in family medicine, emphasizing the importance of international collaboration. This event played a significant role not only in professional knowledge exchange but also in defining future development prospects.
Such forums play an important role in developing academic knowledge and personal qualities for both doctors and students, as well as in improving applied medicine.
