Meeting on the Topic “Fighting Corruption: The Path of Honesty”

On February 25, 2025, a meeting on the topic “Fighting Corruption: Aдалдық жолынан айнымайық” was held at the City Scientific and Universal Library named after Al-Farabi. The event was organized by the Department of Medical Biophysics and Information Technologies for students of group FÖTAB-01-24.
The event was attended by:
• Nurgul Kuanyshbekovna – Senior Lecturer at the Baurzhan Momyshuly Educational Center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Police Colonel;
• Mekenbai Meirambek – Head of the Department at the Baurzhan Momyshuly Educational Center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Police Captain;
• Serikhan Kamalkhanov – Master of Law, Lecturer at the Department of Law and History of Shymkent University.
The invited speakers provided a detailed explanation of the consequences of corruption, its impact on society, and the legal mechanisms for combating it. During the meeting, students not only gained valuable knowledge but also actively participated in discussions, demonstrating their civic engagement.
A highlight of the evening was the recitation of poems and wise sayings by the great Abai, emphasizing the importance of honesty and morality. The most active students were awarded for their participation.
This event became an important step in shaping an anti-corruption mindset among young people, promoting the principles of integrity and morality, and strengthening civic responsibility in modern society.
