International Standards on the Prevention and Reduction of Statelessness

In accordance with the legal education direction of the educational plan for the 2024–2025 academic year at South Kazakhstan Medical Academy, the Department of Foreign Languages organized a special meeting for first-year students on February 17 in Kazakhstan on the topic of "International Standards on the Prevention and Reduction of Statelessness." The guests of the seminar were the heads of the "Sana Sezim" Public Association: lawyers EEnikeeva and E. Agmanova. During the meeting, the following topics were discussed: the importance of human rights and ways to protect them, the consequences of statelessness and measures to prevent it, as well as the work and support mechanisms of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR).We express our gratitude to all the students who actively participated in the event!
