FROM HEART TO HEART

The staff of the Department of Pharmaceutical and Toxicological Chemistry and students of the curatorial groups of the Pharmacy visited the municipal state institution "Center for Special Social Services No. 2" of the Department for the Coordination of Employment and Social Programs of the Turkestan region with a cultural and educational event on the occasion of March 14 - the feast of contemplation.

On this day, residents of villages get up early, visit the elderly to greet them. At the same time, wishes for a long life are expressing. The elders bless the young with a special feeling. On this day, treats are prepared in every house, people warmly greet and are interested in each other's well-being. On the day of the meetings, former grievances are forgiven, disputes are forgotten, neighbors invite each other to a meal, wish the guests and their relatives health and well-being.

The Center serves about 160 elderly and disabled patients. The students prepared a concert program and brought them special joy. Songs of their youth were performed, saxophone and guitar were played, folk and modern dances were set on fire.

On this occasion, gifts, medicines and a festive table were distributed to the elderly. The old people blessed with tears in their eyes and expressed their sincere wishes.

This meeting left an unforgettable impression on both students and staff of the department. They felt the sincere kindness of the elders and understood the true meaning of the Amal holiday.
