EXCHANGE OF EXPERIENCE IN SAMARKAND
From April 3 to 7, 2025, the head of the "Family Medicine-2" department, G.N. Dosybaeva, and E.T. Otumbaeva traveled to Samarkand, Republic of Uzbekistan, for an official visit to the Samarkand State Medical University (SSMU) as part of an academic mobility program for the purpose of experience exchange.
Within the framework of academic mobility, Gulzhan Nurbekovna conducted a seminar on "Current Issues in Family Medicine" for faculty members, residents, master's students, and doctoral students at the "Family and Preventive Medicine" department, while Enlik Toilibekovna presented on "Current Issues in Endocrinology in Family Physician Practice."
During the seminar, topics related to maternal and child health, reproductive health, prenatal care, gastroenterology, gastric ulcers, and current issues in gerontology were addressed.
On April 4-5, 2025, the IV International Scientific and Practical Conference "Innovative Technologies in Healthcare" and the II Eurasian Congress of Surgeons took place at the Samarkand State Medical University (SSMU). Specialists from Russia, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan, Azerbaijan, and Turkey participated in this event, presenting reports and sharing their experiences.
The conference opened with a welcoming speech by the rector of SSMU, Rizaev Jasur Alimdzhanovich, followed by congratulatory addresses from the chief rheumatologist of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Togyzbaev Galymzhan Asylbekovich, Professor Sergey Vladimirovich Korenev from the Baltic Federal University named after I. Kant, as well as scientists from Tajikistan and Uzbekistan.
At the family medicine section, G.N. Dosybaeva presented a report titled "Principles of Training General Practitioners - Experience of Kazakhstan," while E.T. Otumbaeva discussed "Prevalence of Fibrous Liver Changes in Adults." In the internal medicine section, G.N. Dosybaeva presented a report titled "Pregnancy - Does a Woman Need a Gastroenterologist?"
