"Day of Culture and National Traditions"
On 16.03.24, a festive event dedicated to the Day of Culture and National Traditions was held at the Department of History of Kazakhstan and Socio-Public Disciplines within the framework of the concept of the festive decade of Nauryznam.
The purpose of the festive event is to promote the rich cultural heritage of the Kazakh people, national traditions, increase interest and love for national values among young people, as well as strengthen unity and peace in the multinational society of Kazakhstan. This event is aimed at deeply immersing oneself in the culture of the Kazakh people, paying attention to their history, art, traditions and customs, as well as preserving the national identity of the people and passing it on to future generations.
At the festive event, the traditions of "Syrga salu" and "Betashar", dedicated to national values, were demonstrated among the students of the 1-2 courses of the Faculty of Medicine and Pharmacy. During the event, national games were played, dances and songs were performed, and national dishes were served.
The competition "Zhigit Sultany-2025" was also held.
The purpose of the competition "Zhigit Sultany-2025" is to preserve national values, health, appreciation of art, increase motivation for knowledge, as well as the formation of a sense of patriotism and responsibility among young people. This competition allows young people to develop individually, participate in community service, and increase their responsibility for themselves and society. The competition is a platform for demonstrating knowledge, art, culture and athletic abilities of children. In addition, it is aimed at forming personalities in modern society who will become a role model for guys.
In this competition, students answered quiz questions related to national traditions and showed their "kol kures" skills.
The winner of the competition "Zhigit Sultany-2025" was the 1st year student of the Faculty of Medicine Zhumabekuly Yernar.
Students of 1-2 courses who took an active part in this festive event were awarded with letters of thanks and memorable gifts.
