Curatorial hour with the students for promoting of the “Altyn Orda” brand in its close connection with Kazakhstan

On February 21, 2025, PhD in social sciences, acting professor of the Department of Social and Humanitarian Disciplines Ertayev M.A. held a curatorial educational hour with students of the ФОТКАБ-01-23 group to promote the “Altyn Orda” brand through its close connection with Kazakhstan.
The purpose of the curatorial hour:
- Clarification of the place of “Altyn Orda” in the history of Kazakhstan;
- Combination of the heritage of “Altyn Orda” with the national identity of modern Kazakhstan;
- Explanation of ideological and cultural aspects.
Being an important part of the history of Kazakhstan, “Altyn Orda” can play a significant role in the formation of national identity, preservation and development of cultural heritage as well as in promoting the international image of the state. Ideologically strengthen this brand, it is necessary to work in several directions.
Professor Ertayev M.A. noted that “Altyn Orda” was the source of Kazakh statehood, then he listened to the opinions and suggestions of the students. The students made many suggestions for the development of the “Altyn Orda” brand.
For example:
- Developing media and cultural projects aimed at strengthening national pride and historical self-awareness among young people;
- Organizing exhibitions popularizing the “Altyn Orda” heritage in Kazakhstan and abroad;
- Holding festivals in the style of “Altyn Orda” as a national tourism brand;
- Creating content on social networks (TikTok, YouTube, Instagram) to promote the “Altyn Orda” brand of Kazakhstan at the global level;
- Holding essay, article and drawing competitions on the topic of “Altyn Orda”.
The “Altyn Orda” brand is not only a historical heritage of Kazakhstan but can also become an important tool for the formation of national identity, strengthening the country's image at the international level and promoting the development of cultural and ideological values. "Therefore, in this direction, we should systematically carry out comprehensive scientific, cultural, tourist and informational work," said professor Ertayev M.A., concluding the curatorial educational hour.
