An online lecture on the topic "Prevention of Addictions" was held.

On April 8, 2025, an online lecture on the topic of "Prevention of Addictions" was held, organized by the Psychological Service.
During the lecture, Dr. Eugene Yan, a psychologist, president of the Kazakhstan Association of Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, and an expert with extensive experience and professional knowledge in the fields of psychology and addiction prevention, shared his expertise and knowledge, as well as provided insights on ways to prevent addictions.
The meeting featured presentations by Dr. Laura Sadyk, a psychiatrist, psychotherapist, PhD, and associate professor at the Department of Neurology and Psychiatry at OQMA, as well as Aigul Kanatkizhi Shyntoreeva, head of the Psychology Department at the Youth Resource Center of the Department of Internal Policy and Youth Affairs of Shymkent.
The participants of the lecture received a variety of interesting and useful information. Furthermore, this event became an important step in forming an informed approach to the issue of addictions.
